Consequently, a lot of useful spaces have been wasted while implementing the old architectural practices when constructing cities. The future cities architecture is being designed to make use of the remaining small spaces as well as exploiting the dreaded yet exploitable spaces. It concentrates on minimization of fossil fuel use. Therefore, the public must be part and parcel of the creation of future cities architecture to facilitate their development. Essentially, citizens will change from being consumers of the city to their producers.Cities in FutureIt is interesting to think on how the future cities will look like. Since the population of the world is estimated to grow rapidly, it is anticipated that the increase will encompass countries undergoing rapid development such as China and India (Rassia and Pardalos 15). Furthermore, the major climatic changes which have occurred has played a role in the shift which are anticipated to occur in the presentations of future architecture of cities. The transformation of the fab city is the greatest invention of the future. It relies on production through micro plants situated in the urban architecture and connected to the citizen. The fab city uses the PITO to DIDO model. PITO means Product in Trash Out while DIDO means Data in Data Out. The application of these models will ensure zero wastage in the cities through a sustainable production. As such, the cities will bring commodities to people through knowledge sharing, resource maximization and export of talent. The fab city will yield a model that redefines new technology by giving it a social and economic dimension. The same tool that produces a spectacular city sculpture will offer solutions to the increasing problems of the energy and production sect ors. Fab city is archetypal based on the fab labs that are currently located in some towns. The model is able to handle the issues of ordinary people as well as connect them to the worldwide network by using digital fabrication innovation.According to Williams, the future cities will also be characterized by heavy technology as evident from the research done by students from Barcelona University (464). The transformation from fab labs to fab cities will change the interactions among people and their current places in which they live through the use of different technologies such as using mobile phone applications to track available car parking places in the city.
